Things I Love Thursday!

Oh man, can I just say how much I've missed Things I Love Thursday? Seriously! It's only been something miniscule like 2 weeks since my last TILT post, but still! Recapping things I love always puts me in a good mood. In fact, we should all make it a point to surround ourselves with the people, things and activities we love on a continuous basis. It comes down to plain ol' logic, friends: positivity breeds positivity!

No one should waste time on the things or people that bring them down. A good rule of thumb to follow: If it brings you down, don't bring it with you! Drop that nonsense like a bad habit!

I love this photo. Apparently Joey and I had the exact same reaction to Clayton's question of, "Do you wanna go outside?" Just look at my adorable Beagle Butt; isn't he just precious? (Please tell me I'm not the only one who gives their pet ridiculously absurd nicknames like Beagle Butt, Stinky Cheeses, and Boobie Nose? I know, sometimes I even surprise myself with the dumb words that fly out of my mouth.)

Neil Diamond's "The Christmas Album". I have associated this Neil Diamond holiday album with Christmas morning for as long as I can remember Christmas. It is a beloved family tradition for my mother to blare "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" early in the morning when she's ready for her kin to spring out of bed and open presents on Christmas morning. I actually blame her for my fervent love of sequined blouses and The Jazz Singer.
And let's talk about the album cover for a second, shall we? I mean, come on! That hair? Those eyebrows? Any Christmas album that can bring holiday cheer while simultaneously bringing dangerous amounts of sex appeal is a cd worth owning! You bring the eggnog, Neil will bring the musical panty-drop.

This "Love" XOXO Nugget Wrap Bracelet from Baublebar. I'll admit, I'm a major trend follower when it comes to having "love" splashed on art, jewelry or home d├ęcor (and I'm considering a tattoo!). I mean, who doesn't want more love in their life? I know I certainly do! And I also know I want to give more love in my life. This delicate bracelet is a sweet reminder of our calling to love one another unconditionally, and I am just kicking myself that I didn't discover it sooner. The bracelet is currently out of stock (understandably, $10 is a steal!) and I'm on a waiting list. Bah Humbug!

Starbucks' Christmas Cups. You know the holidays are just around the corner when you begin to spot these signature red coffee cups around town! I find something exceptionally comforting about these simple cups and whenever I hold one in my hand, I instantly long to for snow on the ground and a quiet day at home by the Christmas tree. Back in November I picked up a tall plain coffee with milk (I know, I walk on the wild side!) and was given a plain white cup. I later discovered a friend of mine went to that same Starbucks that SAME DAY and their latte was served in their dazzling red design. Needless to say, I was inappropriately jealous.

What are some things you're loving right now?

  1. And I am still laughing at "musical panty drop"

  2. Ohhhh purdy bracelet!
I've been listening to Mr. Buble's Christmas album myself and I'm quite smitten with him.
